Product Disclaimer

General terms of use

HARLAND products are cosmetic skincare products designed for external use only. They are not medications or pharmaceutical drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

We recommend performing a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or any pre-existing skin condition. If you are pregnant, nursing, or on prescription skincare, consult your dermatologist before adding any new product to your routine.

Individual results may vary. HARLAND is not responsible for individual sensitivity reactions or adverse effects resulting from product use.

Patch test instructions

Before using any HARLAND product for the first time:

  1. Apply a small amount to the inner elbow or behind the ear.
  2. Cover the area lightly and leave for 24 hours.
  3. If you experience redness, irritation, swelling, or itching, do not use the product. Rinse with water and consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist.
  4. If no reaction occurs after 24 hours, proceed with normal use.

Skin purging

When introducing active ingredients (such as Niacinamide or Kojic Complex) into your routine, temporary breakouts may occur within the first 3–6 weeks. This is known as "skin purging" — a normal process where your skin adjusts to the new active. Purging typically resolves within 4–8 weeks. If breakouts persist beyond this period, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

Storage & handling

To maintain product efficacy and safety:

  • Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep the cap tightly closed after each use.
  • Do not allow water to enter the bottle.
  • Use within the validity period printed on the packaging.
  • Do not share applicators or touch the dispenser opening to skin to avoid contamination.

Natural ingredients may show slight batch-to-batch variation in colour, texture, or scent. This does not affect product safety or efficacy. HARLAND assumes no responsibility for product issues resulting from improper handling or storage after delivery.

Quality control

All HARLAND products undergo quality checks at three stages: formulation, production, and post-production — before being shipped. Our products are manufactured in CDSCO-licensed facilities in India.

Sunscreen-specific advisory

The Serum & Sunscreen provides SPF 50 PA++++ protection. For full efficacy:

  • Apply generously (two pumps for face) as the last step in your morning routine.
  • Wait 90 seconds before sun exposure.
  • Reapply after 4+ hours of outdoor exposure, or after swimming or heavy sweating.
  • Sunscreen reduces the risk of sun damage but does not eliminate it entirely. Avoid prolonged unprotected sun exposure.
